Vicinities, a project of the European Fund for the Balkans (EFB) and the Center for Democracy and Reconciliation in Southeast Europe (CDRSEE) and the first Southeast Europe current affairs regional TV talk show ever, will be presented in the Mikser House on October 8, 2014.
The presentation will be followed by a roundtable discussion on “Media cooperation between the countries of the region”. Editors-in-Chief of the regional TV channels broadcasting Vicinities will be discussing the topic together with the Editors-in-Chief of the most prominent print media in the Balkans.
HE Heinz Wilhelm, German ambassador to Serbia, Dr Erhard Busek, CDRSEE Chairman, Hedvig Morvai, Executive Director of the European Fund for the Balkans, and numerous representatives of the diplomatic corps and civil society will also be attending the event. The round table discussion will be moderated by Zvezdana Kovač, CDRSEE Director and Nenad Šebek, RCC Spokesman.
Vicinities is a cutting-edge TV news talk show that brings together influential guests from various countries in Southeast Europe to present, debate, seek solutions to and sometimes even find comic relief in issues that deeply affect the everyday life and peace in the region. During its first three seasons, aired in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Kosovo, the show proved that this project is valuable.
