An extraordinary two-week Summer Academy starts in Bratislava and continues in Vienna, Austria and in Mauerbach, in the Schloss Park Mauerbach, within the “South Eastern Europe and the EU - Leadership Development Programme“.
The Summer Academy brings together 30 enthusiastic participants carefully selected to experience Europe through the Academy superior curriculum, which include topics related to the European Union and the development of its relations with SEE, as well as wider issues of international, European and economic relations.
The Summer Academy brings together 30 enthusiastic participants carefully selected to experience Europe through the Academy superior curriculum, which include topics related to the European Union and the development of its relations with SEE, as well as wider issues of international, European and economic relations.
Practical training components of the Academy focussing on negotiations, project management and presentation skills provides participants with essential leadership qualities and gives true meaning of the learning by experiencing process in this Programme.
The Programme runs over a ten-month period and aims to transmit knowledge about the EU and its relation to the region, to stimulate the leadership and professional skills of participants and to encourage an exchange of views. Underlying the project is the belief that the driving force for the continuation of the political, social and economic reform and transition process are qualified young professionals with international experience.
Southeast Europe and the EU – Leadership Development Programme is an academic cooperation initiated to support the integration process in Southeast Europe, through partnership of the Development Office of the College of Europe, the TRANSFUSE Association (Berlin) and the European Fund for the Balkans.
The Programme runs over a ten-month period and aims to transmit knowledge about the EU and its relation to the region, to stimulate the leadership and professional skills of participants and to encourage an exchange of views.
